Farm & Garden Consultations:
With the farm consultations we would schedule a day for me to come out to the property and walk the site with you. I’d have you make a good list of questions before hand that way you can make sue that your ask everything you can think of while i’m there. As we walk the property i’d give you all of my most recommended suggestions for each area and would help give you ideas and information on how to make your gardening and farming goals come to life! After the consultation is over you will be free to call me throughout the season to ask any other questions that may come up as you progress in building your farm or garden! As far as the pricing goes for on site consultations, it will vary a little due to distance, time, etc., so with that said we can discuss that when we schedule a date and time if you’re interested.
Edible Landscape Design:
I’m not only a farmer, I also happen to be an artist! My work/paintings are actually all over the country! So the idea of tying together my love of farming/gardening and passion for art just makes sense if you ask me! When it comes to having an edible landscape it is essential that you have a good plan to start off with. When I design a new landscape I like to look over the area to get an idea of what the micro climates are like, and see where the shadows are casting. I like to have a list of the plants you will be hoping to have incorporated into the landscape. I will also make suggestions on new plants that aren’t on the list already to ensure the best biodiversity. Because this is typically an additional “add on” to the farm and garden consultation I charge $25-75.00 for a hand rendered landscape design plan.
Fruit & Small Tree Precision Pruning:
Pruning is one of those things a lot of people tend to forget about or just don’t realize they have to do or have done each year when you have fruit trees. For pruning jobs I need to come and look at the tree to give an estimate since every tree is different. If you want to have the brush removed it will cost an additional $50 and the brush will be picked up the day after the pruning session. If you don’t need it removed then I will pile it where ever you want so you can burn it or dispose of it how ever you wish. The Fruit and Small Tree Pruning is only available for people in in the Sequim, WA area.

Hi, I was wondering if you would be willing to answer a question. I know with BTE method, Paul waters only until the seeds sprout. But how about transplants? Like for example, potted tomato plants you buy from the store. How many days should you water every day? Or should you just transplant, water, mulch, and not water any more? Thank you!
